TCEA Developed Training

The Technology Coordinators’ Academy 
A five-day training for new or prospective technology coordinators that includes two days in October, one day during the annual TCEA state convention, and two days in June.  All topics relate to needed skills for technology coordinators in school districts across Texas.

The Campus Technology Specialists’ Academy 
A three-day professional development opportunity for those educators at the campus level who find themselves in the position of supporting their fellow educators with technology integration in the classroom and with technical support of equipment.

Technology Integration Academies
are follow-up sessions to the Campus Technology Specialists’ Academy, but may be taken by anyone. These academies are for educators who are responsible for the integration of technology into teaching and learning in the classroom. The first academy focuses on K-5 and the second one on 6-12.

Founded in 1980, the organization has been very active throughout Texas supporting instructional technology.
