Areas
TCEA is divided into 20 areas in the state of Texas, which correspond to
the 20 Regional ESCs. Each TCEA area has an Area Director.
We encourage our members to stay in touch with their Area Directors so that
everyone will be an active member. There are numerous area and regional
conferences in which educators and students can participate. These conferences
and events will link you with other professionals in your geographic area as
well as across the state.
Any regular TCEA member in good standing who is a teacher, administrator, or
other employee of an educational entity in the state of is eligible to be an
Area Director. TCEA Area Directors are elected by the membership of TCEA in an
annual election in the fall. All Area Directors reside or are employed in the
TCEA Areas in which they hold office.
