Area 4

Welcome!

TCEA Area 4, in the Houston area in southeast Texas, is comprised of 54 school districts and nearly 50 Charter Schools in 7 counties. Area 4 consists of over 1,000,000 students and 81,000 educators on nearly 1,300 campuses.

Area 4 and its members are actively involved in educational technology. Area 4 has a long history of successful area conferences. In recent years, area educators have benefited from Region 4's leadership and partnership in presenting the annual Region 4/TCEA Area 4 Technology Applications Conference. In addition, Area 4 districts are known statewide for their success in programming and robotics competition.
