Area 5

Director

I have been a member of TCEA since 1990 and I am currently in my second term serving as your Area 5 TCEA Director.  I have been employed at Hardin-Jefferson ISD for the past 23 years and am presently serving as the Instructional Technology Coordinator. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Lamar University and my Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from McNeese State University.

I implement and conduct staff development at Hardin-Jefferson ISD, have been the leadership representative for grants, provide and integrate new technologies to our staff, develop and implement our district technology plan, and worked with the Area & Regional TMEA’s Region Bands.

Technology began to be a part of my life when I came on board at Hardin-Jefferson. With technology integration being such an important part of learning, I believe it is my responsibility to assist students, teachers and administrators with new technology innovations.
