Area 18
Director
Welcome to the Area 18 Website. My name is Jamye Swinford, and I am happy to be able to serve as your TCEA Area 18 Director. I am currently an Instructional Consultant at Region 18 ESC in Midland. I have worked with TCEA for approximately 18 years, serving on numerous committees and chairing several state contests. I have also served as the TCEA Secretary and Area 18 Director.
Integrating technology into the curriculum is one of the most important aspects of teaching. TCEA provides a means to network educators across Texas and promotes success in using technology in the classroom.
