JJ Colburn, M.Ed.JJ Colburn, M.Ed., is the executive director of the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented (TAGT). Prior to his role with TAGT, he served as the director of the Texas Association of Student Councils where he both developed and delivered organizational leadership training and curriculum. He is a former social studies teacher, counselor, and student leadership consultant. He was recognized in 2011 with the Earl Reum Regional Award, a national award presented to outstanding teachers of teachers, and he has been recognized as a Distinguished Alumni of Little Cypress-Mauriceville C.I.S.D.TITLE: Live a Life of Influence and Meaning DESCRIPTION: Have you ever been amazed by the capacity some have to be a compelling force and have significant influence over others?
