Learn ideas for using iBooks Author for yourself and your classroom in this hands-on session.
iPads for Tots: (Grades PK-2 Strand)

You're never too young to be engaged in learning with an iPad. We will explore how the iPad and the many apps for PreK-2 can be used to jump start young learners' imaginations. We will go beyond the basic use of apps to creating activities that require deeper thinking and hands on learning.
STEM: Where Do I Begin? (Grades 3-5 Strand)

Research shows that learning STEM concepts in elementary can improve a student's chances for future success in STEM fields. Learn about the fun and engaging apps, games, and other tools that can increase their creativity and interest in math and the sciences. You will also get your hands on the third generation of LEGO MINDSTORMS Robotics -- the EV3. No computer is necessary as the EV3 Brick comes with an on-brick programming application similar to the EV3 software. You will build a robot and explore motors and sensors.
