Special Interest Group (SIG) Meetings

TCEA has five Special Interest Groups (SIGs) for members who want to become even more involved in technology education and network throughout the year with other educators in similar positions.

Technology Coordinators SIG (TEC SIG) Luncheon

Wednesday, Feb. 4
11:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Luncheon at the Hilton with a keynote speaker. Cost for the luncheon is $10.

About Susan Fletcher, Ph.D.

Frequently quoted as an expert in articles appearing in national magazines, she has also been the feature story on local ABC and FOX News programs. Susan began her education at the University of Florida where she earned her undergraduate degree in Health and Human Performance. She then went on to earn a Masters in Counseling Psychology and her Ph.D. from Texas Woman’s University. After a few years in private practice, Susan switched gears to work with Dr. Phil McGraw (“Dr. Phil”) as a litigation specialist on high-profile cases. She has been in private practice for almost 20 years.

Camp SIG (Campus Technology Specialists Group)
Monday, Feb. 2
8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Alysa Cozart and Adam Larson of Klein ISD will share their experiences implementing a 1:1 program at the high school level. The emphasis will be on professional development and building relationships with teachers. All CampSIG members and potential members are eligible to participate. Event is free, but you must register to attend.
