Austin City Limits
bandExperience a unique night in the “Live Music Capital of the World” as Austin’s own Mother Truckers perform on the stage of PBS’s longest running popular live concert music series. The music of this high energy country rock 'n' roll is high-octane Americana, blending hard hitting electric guitars with soaring vocals and irreverent lyrics. They take the Texas mix of Country, Blues, and Rock to a higher place with their creative songwriting and high energy live performances.

PBS TeacherLine of Texas and KLRU-TV, Austin PBS, offer an unforgettable evening of fun and music in the home of the legendary series Austin City Limits. Attendees will enjoy complimentary appetizers and beverages while learning about a valuable resource for teachers. PBS TeacherLine of Texas is the premier online professional development program for K-12 educators. The event will take place in KLRU’s Austin City Limits Studio at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4. Cost is $25. Shuttle buses will be provided.

Robert Knight Golf Tournament
Time to tee off with TCEA. Join your colleagues for an ’18-hole scramble’ at one of the finest golf courses in Texas! In close proximity to downtown Austin, Onion Creek Country Club was named Best Private Course by Texas Golfer Magazine August 2005. The cost to play is $65 and includes driving range, green fees, cart, and lunch. There are no skill requirements – so, whether you’re a pro or a beginner, make plans to join us. Sign up now for a fun-filled event of networking and socializing at the Eleventh Annual Robert Knight Golf Tournament on Tuesday, Feb. 3 from 9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

Meet us at TCEA Motor Speedway
Bring your pit crew, start your engines, and get ready to enter an evening of fun and excitement.

At this fun-filled event you can compete with your colleagues in an array of video games and challenging activities or you can unwind and enjoy the sensational Texas Unlimited Band. Sharing the stage with megastars such as George Strait, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, and Garth Brooks, Texas Unlimited Band is a versatile band that can go from George Strait to Nelly in 2.8 seconds flat. Whether its country, pop, or the oldies, these guys do it and do it well. Admission is complimentary for all full registered attendees and exhibiting personnel. Continuous transportation between convention hotels and the event will be provided. Join us on Thursday, Feb. 5 from 8:00 p.m–11:30 p.m.

Networking Exhibit Hall Reception
Use this relaxed networking opportunity to connect with the exhibitors, mingle with your colleagues, and check out the latest products and services in educational technology. Enjoy refreshments and tapas as you meet reps and view product demos from the more than 400 companies at TCEA 2009. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 4:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. in the exhibit hall.
