- Featuring Kat Edmonson
-
With hypnotic elegance and a voice beyond her years, the Austin-based Edmonson borrows effortlessly from many musical styles to create a sound NPR calls, “memorable and contagious”. The New York Times says, “Ms. Edmonson, from Austin, Tex., is a promising young jazz singer with a kittenish voice and an amiably relaxed style.” Her recent album highlights the Great American Songbook, but also give a nod to modern artists that have made an impact – both on Edmonson herself, and on the world’s musical landscape.
