ABSTRACT: This study examined the use of podcasting technology and its impact on academic performance in an undergraduate “Introduction to Advertising” course at a large American university. Although the use of podcasts was not found to enhance academic performance amongst this sample, several interesting trends emerged including confirmatory evidence regarding the difference in podcast usage according to gender.
