Department of Technology Systems

ABSTRACT: As network and computer security become more crucial, network administrators are always looking for more effective technologies to protect their networks. Since the first level of defense is password security, selecting the proper type of password methodology plays an important role in the entire security plan of the enterprise’s network. This paper focuses on the complications of the existing password authentication methods and some of the new technologies that are currently available for network administrators and security professionals.
