Raising Student Information Technology Self-
Efficacy with Authentic Assessments

ABSTRACT: The study details the impact of authentic assessment in an undergraduate Instructional Technology course upon the information and communication technology (ICT) self-efficacy of pre-service educators. Authentic assessment of 21st Century skills that include blogs, online applications, and web-based portfolios, positively impacted the student’s information and communication technology self-efficacy.
