Symposium
Paper length: Four-eight single spaced pages. A paper longer than eight pages will be returned to its author for editing and may not be published in the proceedings. An abstract by itself will not be considered.
Presentation time: 20 minutes for each paper, including Q&A. Presentations will be grouped together by areas of interest and the presentation group will be assigned time slots of appropriate length.
AV equipment provided: PC with speakers, LCD Projector, Internet and microphone. The PC will have MS Office (including PowerPoint) installed and will contain a DVD drive and USB port. NO overhead projector or Apple computer will be provided. Presenters may use their own laptop computers.
Other information: Papers should consist of original (not previously published) or reported research on any and all aspects of Educational Technology. Papers will be peer reviewed using a double-blind referee process.
Conference Proceedings Publication: Accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings book. These papers will serve as a source of information for educational technology research. Selected papers may be invited to be published in the TechEdge, TCEA’s quarterly journal. Authors of accepted papers are required to register for the symposium and present their papers in order to have their papers published in the Conference Proceedings publication.

Deadline for paper submission: An electronic copy (Microsoft Word format) of the paper must be sent to cravey@tcea.org as an e-mail attachment no later than September 1, 2008. Papers are required to use American Psychological Association (APA) guidelines EXCEPT the paper will be single spaced. Additional format: single column, no page numbers, no footnotes, references included at end of paper. An Abstract is required.
Deadline for revisions: Any revisions to an accepted paper must be sent to cravey@tcea.org no later than November 1, 2008 (Microsoft Word format, e-mail attachment). The deadline allows time for authors make any necessary changes to their papers as a result of the review process.
