During this session, participants will discover apps for K-12. Participants will learn where to find and how to access great content for the iPad to be more effective and efficient at implementing the iPad in their classrooms.

Come learn how you can leverage this free, online media library for your mobile learning initiatives.  With iTunes U Course Manager, now it’s easier than ever to unleash the full potential of iPad in your classroom by creating your own courses for iPad. You get to share your ideas in a powerful new way, and your students get a rich, immersive learning experience using the iTunes U app for iPad. Apple will show examples of how education is embracing this tool.

Looking for rich lessons where new tools and resources enhance your classroom-learning environment using the iPad? This session takes you beyond “cool apps” for the iPad to how to best use the mobile device in the science classroom for authentic learning. Apps, resources, web tools, and sites will be shared.

TCEA is the regional partner for ISTE 2013. In addition to providing program, marketing and volunteer support to ISTE, we are hosting a special three-day interactive playground focused on learning with iOS technologies.

TCEA members who are new ISTE members will save $10 on registration. All TCEA members are eligible for an extended super early bird rate through May 1.
