We are currently seeking financial support for this event from community members like you who have a passion for fueling the spark of creativity in education through science, math, and robotics.TCEA is a non-profit education organization dedicated to helping educators innovate teaching and learning through professional development opportunities and exposure to new and emerging technologies. The goal of the TCEA Robotics Competition is to inspire young people to become science and technology leaders. Robotics is an invaluable resource for teaching science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) skills. It also develops critical thinking, collaboration, and problem solving, along with other 21st century skills such as creativity, imagination, curiosity, innovation, and self-confidence. TCEA provides students with the opportunity to explore robotics by holding 20 Regional competitions that reach rural as well as urban areas throughout the state of Texas. The winning teams from these regional competitions then have the opportunity to compete at the state-level. There will be over 1200 teams from all over Texas that compete this year, and 190 teams and 800 students will advance to the state competition. TCEA is seeking financial support to increase the impact of this valuable student-centered competition. The sponsorship support will be used for student awards, competition shirts, supplies, refreshments for competing teams, and more.
