TA/CS SIG
The Technology Applications/Computer Science Special Interest Group is dedicated to establishing a network of information exchange for TCEA members who are involved in the study of information processing, including both hardware and software development. Membership is not limited to educators of computer programming, but also includes those with interest in technology application curricular areas such as multimedia design, web authoring, digital graphics/animation, and video production.
Purpose
1. Encourage an active interest in computer education on levels K- 1 2 throughout the State of Texas.
2. Provide an opportunity to study and keep abreast of any new trends in computer education.
3. Promote professional cooperation and communication between teachers and administrators toward realization of sound educational achievements.
4. Provide a liaison with other organizations involved in the use of the computer as an educational tool.
