Austin, Texas: TCEA is pleased to announce the newest edition to our Board of Directors: Mindi Vandagriff. The Board of Directors is comprised of 27 education leaders, including seven executive committee members and 20 area directors, who each serve an area aligned with Texas’ Regional Education Service Centers. Vandagriff will serve as the Area 10 Director, which comprises the greater Dallas area. She is taking over the position from Stuart Burt who stepped down in early May. She will begin her duties helping to drive TCEA’s initiatives for the 2017-2018 fiscal year and assisting educators in her area starting May 22.
“We are overjoyed to have Mindi joining the TCEA Board,” said TCEA Executive Director Lori Gracey. “She is an incredible educator and a huge proponent of technology in schools. We look forward to seeing what new ideas and vision her talent will bring to the organization.”
Vandagriff currently serves as the Instructional Technologist at Anna ISD. She is a Google Educator and describes herself as a lifelong learner. You can learn more about her initiatives to integrate technology into the curriculum in Anna ISD at her website here.
