Microsoft Academy

Do you want be more efficient? Are your technology skills stretched to the limits when planning a project? Do you want to collaborate with like-minded educators? Now is the time to become a TCEA Microsoft Academy learner!

In two days of hands-on learning led by TCEA’s Microsoft Certified Trainers as well as Texas MIE Experts/Trainers, you will become a more effective creator and user of Microsoft productivity tools. No matter your educator role (teacher, librarian, administrator, clerical, and others), learn skills and strategies to empower you to become a TCEA Microsoft Academy learner and earn 12 CPE hours in the process.

Why Attend Microsoft Academy?

At the TCEA Microsoft Academy, you will:

  • Explore how to best solve classroom or office problems with Microsoft tools
  • Get hands-on with Onedrive, OneNote, Office 365 Online tools, MS Classroom, and Forms
  • Be introduced to mobile coding with Creative Coding through Games and Apps (CCGA)
  • Learn how to use Minecraft: Education Edition in your classroom
  • Gain insight into Microsoft Makers projects and 3D Builder to use in your library
  • Join the Texas Microsoft Explorers’ Community, a network for ongoing motivation and inspiration
  • Earn badges and points in the Microsoft Education Community from Microsoft Certified Trainers.
  • Network with other participants from around the state to share challenges and solutions.
