Chromebook Academy

A Chromebook can be a cost-effective alternative for the classroom, campus, or district. You have probably heard that they greatly improve student learning and performance, but you still may have many questions. How do they benefit students and teachers? How do they compare to other mobile devices? How can we maximize and yet simplify their use? What is the best way to manage a classroom set? At TCEA, we understand your concerns and have a solution for you.

 

Chromebook Academy presenters have extensive knowledge of Chromebooks and their effective use in the classroom. Whether you are new to Chromebooks or are part of a district deployment, there will be something for every educator at any level. At this academy, plan to:

  • Explore innovative ways to use Chromebooks in the classroom through hands-on learning opportunities;
  • Learn to better engage students and deepen their understanding of the Google environment;
  • Return home with proven techniques and practical advice that can be implemented in your classroom;
  • Discover great resources for building your Google and Chromebook PLN; and,
  • Capture new ideas that will transform the ways your students learn.
