Types of Room Setups

TCEA’s Conference Center offers multiple rooms that can accommodate a variety of meeting or presentation styles. As you’re checking out the available rental spaces, make note of the different setups offered for each. Have another setup need or idea? Let us know!

Theater Style: Chairs are placed in forward-facing rows for a more formal, presentational vibe and unobstructed view of a presentation and speaker.

Classroom Style: Forward-facing tables and chairs offer space for devices and materials during a class, lecture, or presentation and a clear view of screens and presenters.

U-Shaped: Tables for devices and materials are placed in a u-shape. They offer an unobstructed view of the presentation and the chance for attendees to face each other during discussions.

Banquet Style: Large, round tables and chairs are perfect for devices, materials, discussions, and a view of the speaker and presentation screens. (They’re also great for meals.)

Pods of 4: Rectangular tables are placed with two chairs facing each other on either side. Guests get views of presenters and screens and have the ability to work in small groups.

Conference Style: Available in smaller rooms only, guests and team members sit together at tables that are perfect for small or medium group conferencing.

A fan favorite, this space holds the famous “LEGO® table,” which was hand-made by TCEA staff. Collaboration is ready to host successful team meetings and brainstorming sessions! This memorable room is perfect for smaller, interactive meetings and comes with a flat screen TV, device hookups, rectangular table, and chairs. It’s ready for you.

Innovation

Ready for both presenting and interaction.

Innovation is an ideal space that can be set up to cater to any meeting style. With adaptable seating options, you can use this room for interactive presentations, formal presentations, meetings, and more. A screen, podium, and device hookups are available to you. The sky’s the limit, as they say!

With its adaptable seating and large exterior windows, dedication can host any kind of gathering. Whether you’re looking to have a board meeting, host team-building activities, facilitate discussions, or make a presentation, this room can make it happen. Complete with a screen, podium, AV equipment, and device hookups, you’ll be ready for anything.

Transformation

This space can provide ultimate flexibility with front-facing tables and chairs for a classroom-style gathering, chairs-only for more of a theater feel, round tables and chairs for facilitated discussions, or table seating for groups of four for collaboration and activity. No matter your meeting or event style, Transformation can provide exactly what you need.

Inspiration A/B (Combined)

Join these two rooms for your best event yet.

Inspiration A and B can be used separately for smaller groups or combined for larger ones. With the ability to adapt these spaces for any setup, you can host a lecture, facilitate small group discussions, teach a class, foster active learning, and more. Similar to Transformation, the Inspiration spaces can offer you any setup you’re looking for.

Throw your best conference, host your biggest meeting, present to your largest audience, and/or have a full-on feast. TCEA’s Conference Room provides a giant space just for you. Complete with a stage, round tables, chairs, and an attached catering kitchen, this room can be whatever you need it to be. Plus, with streaming and conferencing capabilities, built-in ceiling microphones, and a top-of-the-line ceiling-mounted camera, you can invite anyone to join in!

Catering

At the TCEA Conference Center, you may select your own catering services. This flexibility helps you best suit the needs of your group and can mean a major cost savings when compared with other Austin venues. TCEA can offer a variety of recommendations for great local caterers and food delivery options.

No food or beverage may be brought into the facility unless approved by TCEA. Once approved, you may coordinate directly with the vendor to secure food, delivery, and payment.

Lodging and Approved Vendors

When you book your space, TCEA can provide a list of preferred and recommended hotels to use in close proximity of the TCEA Conference Center. And if you want to make your event extra special, we can connect you with approved vendors who can add a special touch to your event.
