Smart technologies, including Internet of Things (IoT) devices, are gaining traction at a dizzying rate. There is predicted to be an onslaught of fifty billion devices by 2020. This technology will be everywhere—including in your schools, libraries, and districts—creating new opportunities, but also new issues. Join TCEA for a facilitated dialogue that addresses the unique challenges of managing “smart campuses.” Through expert-led sessions and in-depth discussions, you will learn about the management of smart technologies in schools, tips to ensure successful implementation, and solutions for issues like maintaining student privacy.
